These are pretty awesome. I like how the first two for the fact that they show the difference in amount of color between animated GIF and animated PNG.
Also, I like seeing cartoon animated PNGs. There’s a lot of potential to be had there, and now I see one that I like.

That dithering in GIF example is bad for compression. Without dithering it might be compressed better, but it would look much much worse.
Smooth gradients is where PNG really shines. Because it uses filters, that gradient for PNG is basically as good as single-color square.
